Quetta: Four people were killed after a bomb planted on a motorcycle exploded in a town in Pakistan's insurgency racked province of Baluchistan on Wednesday, police said.
Local police chief Mohammed Hussain says the attack happened outside a market in the town of Naseer Abad.
There was no claim of responsibility for the blast, but nationalist Baluch rebels have been fighting for rights to the southwest province's gas, oil and other mineral resources.
"It was a local made remote-control device. The blast killed four people on the spot," said police officer Hussain Mukhazani. He said two people were wounded.
