Dubai: All the three main candidates for the presidential election are staying put to contest the election as none of them withdrew his nomination papers on Saturday.
As reported by Gulf News, Asif Ali Zardari from the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) retired Justice Saeeduzzaman Siddiqi from Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) and Mushahid Hussain Syed from Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q) will contest the presidential election.
Both Roeedad Khan, covering candidate of the PML-N and Faryal Talpur, Zardari’s sister and his covering candidate withdrew their nomination papers, leaving the field open for the three main candidates.
Though Zardari is also set to become the president, all the three parties have already launched intensive campaign to get maximum votes.
