Wyoming: Barack Obama has won the Wyoming primary as his bid to become the Democrat presidential candidate got back on track.
The win gives some momentum back to Obama after his rival Hillary Clinton won the election in Texas and Ohio last week.
The Illinois senator polled 61 per cent of the vote to Hillary Clinton’s 38 per cent.
Wyoming is a small state and only 15 delegates were at stake, but the move give a psychological boost to Obama.
The pair will now move onto the Mississippi primary on Tuesday with Clinton just 110 delegates behind.
John McCain has already been chosen as the Republican party presidential candidate.
