I came to Dubai 20 months back to join my husband, who has been here since 2005. The first thing I would do after my husband left for office, was get my copy of Gulf News. He told me it was all I needed to get through the day. Since then, Gulf News has been my source of information on almost everything. Charlotte Dubai,UAE Posted: December 06, 2007, 08:50
I have been reading Gulf News for more than a year now. I got my job from the classifieds section of the paper. I continue to read the paper to update my knowledge about the region and other countries. I also keep abreast of the rules and regulations through Ask The Law column. Great job, keep it up.

I have been reading Gulf News for the past three years. I read both the online and print editions and they are 100 per cent same. I am working at Micro Data Computer Services and I found the job through Gulf News. My congratulations to Gulf News and its staff on its 30th anniversary.

I am yet to go to Dubai. I have taken up a job with a company there and am due to start by New Year. I have been reading Gulf News for the past three weeks to become familiar with the local current affairs. It is fantastic and now I feel more at ease about entering a new country for the first time. Great job guys, thanks. You can count me as a regular reader. Troy Sunshine Coast,Australia Posted: November 29, 2007, 09:26
I lived in the GCC for the past 16 years, out of which eight years in the UAE. After moving to Canada one thing I am not ready to adjust to is the morning papers, I miss my beloved Gulf News. Michael Calgary,Canada Posted: October 14, 2007, 10:01
It has just been a month since I stared reading the online edition of Gulf News and one thing that I really like about the paper is its extensive coverage. Being a journalist myself, I really like the flow of the stories. Keep up the good work. Smriti New Delhi,India Posted: October 13, 2007, 13:59
The one thing I love most in my life is Gulf News. Actually my life has changed drastically due to Gulf News. When I think of my better prospects I think of Gulf News. Gulf News has given me immense opportunities for the growth of my career. I am a civil engineer working in Dubai for more than a decade and have launched my own company today. I congratulate Gulf News and its team on their 30th year of success. Husain Dubai,UAE Posted: October 10, 2007, 11:18
Since I left the UAE back in 2000 I make sure that I read Gulf News online every day. It seems like I have been so attached to the UAE its people and the culture that I want to know the daily goings-on in the country. And I look for a job on this site. I have been reading Gulf News since 1998 until 2005, when I was in the Gulf (Muscat and Dubai). Now after coming back to India, I read it online regularly. It keeps me updated of all the news in the Gulf and especially in Dubai, of which I have great memories. I appreciate the good work done and for being quite a useful source of information to the general public. My hearty congratulations to Gulf News and its staff for its 30th anniversary. RK Delhi,India Posted: October 05, 2007, 15:54
I lived in Dubai for 18 years and I didn't miss Gulf News a single day. I still remember we received free re-launched Gulf News for nearly one year. Now I have been living in Adelaide for the last six years and I can't go to bed without reading on the net. My best wishes to the Gulf News team. Jerald Adelaide,Australia Posted: October 05, 2007, 14:51
The first time I set foot in Dubai was on November 16, 1992, and the first English language newspaper I had read was Gulf News, that was the newspaper I found at the doorstep of my hotel room. Gulf News was our major source of English daily events and information in the UAE for almost 15 years. As an assistant librarian of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, I have trusted the wide and fair coverage of Gulf News. Gulf News made a big difference in my career as librarian when I found an ad placed by Abu Dhabi University on it. The rest is history. I was hired and appointed the Librarian of the Abu Dhabi University. Aside from our institutional subscription to Gulf News, I personally subscribed to GN to enable me to keep abreast of the news early morning before going to the university. I read the GN every day when I lived in Dubai for over 12 years. Having recently moved to Perth, Australia I have kept in touch by reading GN and enjoy it. Don Perth,Australia Posted: October 03, 2007, 06:26
Congratulations to you on this joyous occasion. I lived in Dubai from 1994 to 1999, and always bought Gulf News on a daily basis. Now i read it daily online. What a great newspaper. Aamir London,UK Posted: October 03, 2007, 02:41
It has been a short while since I started reading Gulf News on the internet and I find it both informative and interesting. To retired people living in the West it is indeed excellent to be in touch with the East. I wish Gulf News all the best. Keep it up. S Mahfooz Orlando, Florida,USA Posted: October 02, 2007, 23:37
I am living in Toronto,Canada and go to Dubai very often for business and stay there for 1 or 2 months at a time and I make sure to Buy Gulf News daily

I have a big interest in Dubai and the UAE as I think its one of the most rapidly growing city in the world. I visit Dubai almost every 4-6 months and each time its diffrent and better. When I'm home I keep in touch with what's happenning in the UAE by reading Gulf news online. In my opinion its the most informative and user friendly newspaper I have seen. I also get updated news of India, fashion, entertainment etc. I love the paper. Thank you Gulf news for making the world such a small place. Priti London,UK Posted: October 02, 2007, 15:20

I read the Gulf News online everyday since I visited friends in Abu Dhabi in April 2007. It is a great newspaper - informative and full of interesting articles. Coleen Pretoria,South Africa Posted: October 02, 2007, 14:29
Gulf News is my breakfast. As soon I reach office I start reading the news first and then I start my work. I love reading the Gulf news. I feel proud when I come to know many things happening round the world. It has improved my knowledge and I always love to give my comments in the public matters and happy to see my name there in the paper. By seeing the Gulf news appointment I was able to get a good job for my hubby too. Nalini Dubai,UAE Posted: October 02, 2007, 14:16
I remember the newly launched Gulf News way back when I was just 5 years old. I used to get up as early as 5am to catch the copy. Then, after the launch of Junior News it became my habit to eagerly wait for Thursday. The first page which I used to open was the middle paged pop celebrity poster in junior news. Afterwards, I graduated as an IT Engineer from a Sharjah University through an advert. in GN. Moreover, appointments section was my major source of job search after graduation. Now, working in UAE since 5 years, reading GN is my first job daily morning. I also purchased my first ever car through classifieds. I look forward to get more in my life from GN. Mansoor Sharjah,UAE Posted: October 02, 2007, 10:59
I am loving it! Ahmed RAK,UAE Posted: October 01, 2007, 15:07

I lived in Sharjah for over 20 years. I remember reading Gulf News way back in 1986 when I was around 8-years-old. My favourite used to be Junior News. I still read the online edition in Karachi with great interest every morning. Keep up the good work and thanks for being there! Asif Karachi,Pakistan Posted: October 01, 2007, 08:46
It has been five years since I left Dubai to live in Sydney, but there has not been a week that I have not read Gulf News online and because of that I feel that I haven't left. When I have guests from the UAE, they are amazed by how tuned in I am about what has happened there on a day to day basis. Satish Sydney,Australia Posted: October 01, 2007, 05:50
I have been reading Gulf News for 25 years. I have even won a Dh1000 in a Gulf News contest almost 20 years ago. Although I have left Dubai, Gulf News online makes me feel lie I am still in Dubai. Leyakat Toronto,Canada Posted: October 01, 2007, 03:26
I have been an avid reader of Gulf News ever since their relaunch in 1985. Earlier on it was a ragtag newspaper but new life was put in it since its relaunch and I am still a regular reader. Of late the whole appearance of the newspaper has changed for the better. Melwyn Sharjah,UAE Posted: October 01, 2007, 02:06
Great work Gulf News! I can not believe you actually came from so far back! I love your variety, but Friday magazine lacks humour (seriously)! Go Gulfnews! Max Dubai,UAE Posted: October 01, 2007, 00:36
The first thing I do after my computer turns on is to go to Gulfnews.com and again at night before turnning off my computer I go to gulfnews.com; so I start my day by Gulf News and end my day by Gulf News. Mahmoud Ruwais,UAE Posted: October 01, 2007, 00:33
Gulf News is the most informative, truly global newspaper I have come across. It has been a part of me for the past 25 years. Anwar Sydney,Australia Posted: October 01, 2007, 00:18
Aren't you starting your 29th year now, not the 30th? If you started on Sept 30, 1978, you won't be 30, and won't start your 30th year, until Sept 30, 2008, right?
I'm not good at math, but something seems wrong here ;-) Magnus Nystedt Abu Dhabi,UAE Posted: September 30, 2007, 18:09
I Remember the first it was launched I had arrived in Dubai on 17/6/1978 and had a hobby of reading newspapers those days there was hardly any choice and good you were that year which even today I read your paper online. Dayal Moscow,Russia Posted: September 30, 2007, 17:53

I left Dubai in April 2007 to settle in Toronto, but I still read Gulf News on line everyday first thing. I can say the news is up to date, language is not very technical and on whole paper is very informative. It is projected very professionally - Wish Gulf News be part of everyone's life. The basic thing is that you treat your online and print editions as equals. Online newspapers have their own strengths - video and audio products work online, but not in print so give us more gallery and videos online. Manzoor Abu Dhabi,UAE Posted: September 30, 2007, 14:25
Gulf News is a part of my daily life. The moment that I step into my office every morning, Gulf News sits with me and my coffee. The newspaper is very informative. Excellent newspaper. Keep it up. You have gone from strength to strength. But please reduce the property and other supplements, they make the paper heavy. Terence Dubai,UAE Posted: September 30, 2007, 09:59
