Do you think Ramadan tents are too expensive this year? Are you aware of minimum-spend conditions at some tents? Have you found hidden charges in your bill?

It is ironic how these places are willing to rob you in the holy month of Ramadan! I know..they will tell you "well, if you think it is too expensive then don't come". They can say this because they will fill up their tents regardless but that's not the point. These tents are supposed to be a place where anyone can go and have a good time with friends without having to pay 75 dhs or more for a sheesha that costs them less than 1 dhs. I can definately afford it, it's just the principle! You can still make money and be reasonable at the same time.
In conclusion, If you go to these tents regularly you are better off buying a couple of sheesha's, inviting your friends to the house and having a good time. you would be saving around 3000 dhs each. Sultan B. Dubai,UAE Posted: September 11, 2008, 11:19
Yes - they are too expensive. We should keep in mind the millions out there who dont have the privilege of 1 meal a day!! I wish Govt of Dubai starts some program like Dubai Cares and Noor Dubai to feed the hungry too! Rajagopalan Sharjah,UAE Posted: September 11, 2008, 11:17
